MAGNUM OPUS ENTERPRISES ANNOUNCES LAUNCH PARTY FOR SACRAMENTO FASHION WEEK 2008
Sacramento, CA (April 2nd 2008) – Magnum Opus Enterprises, the producers of Sacramento Fashion Week will officially launch Fashion Week on Friday April 18th at the Parlare Euro Lounge in downtown Sacramento, CA.
The Parlare Euro Lounge is located at 1009 10th street, Sacramento CA 95814. The launch party beings at 8pm with Lion Dancers and a sneak preview of the designer line ups.
Sacramento Fashion Week features eight local designers from through out the Northern California Region. The designer line ups for the main event held on Friday April 25th at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria are Benzo Courture, Casey Sue, Elephant Couture, Exquisitely Eclectric, Miosa Couture, Lucio Montana, Pegasus Maiden, Playez International and Dee Aguilar.
Sacramento Fashion Week focuses on creating a platform to enhance the local talent within the region. With a mission to produce vibrant and upscale fashion events throughout the year. Sacramento Fashion Week showcases the areas local models in the latest and luxurious designer fashion collections, and creative make-up and hair designs by specially selected local talents from the industry.

HIGH FASHION FINDS NEW HOME IN SACRAMENTO
In the expanding world of haute couture, fashion designers are looking to explore new opportunities in Sacramento. “We have received excellent reception from the city of Sacramento and the fashion industry in the central California area.” Says Grace Ballesteros, Owner/President for Magnum Opus Enterprises. “The growth of the fashion industry in the Sacramento region, Central Valley, and the San Francisco Bay area is the major focus of our mission. Being based in Sacramento allows us to promote growth and expansion in all these areas efficiently.”
With two fashion shows slated for 2008, Sacramento Fashion Week promises to be a big hit with local and international designers as well as luxury retailers in California’s Capitol City. Sacramento Fashion Week’s fall collection event will debut the week of April 18. Fashion Shows will be held each day of the week at various upscale locations which include the Parlare Euro Lounge, and Second Saturday Downtown Sacramento. Sacramento Fashion Week will showcase its final event on Friday, April 25th at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria.
Fridays red carpet affair features 8 successful designers including Miosa Couture and Dee Aguilar. Appearances will also be made by some of Sacramento Valley’s best artists in the exhibitor’s area. “We’re really excited to see many of the sponsors getting involved,” says Ballesteros, “California Academy, Paul Mitchell School, Senses Magazine, Sacramento’s new five star Le Rivage Hotel and Rominger West Chapman Vineyards, as well as Parlare Euro Lounge are just a few of the long list of sponsors. What we are trying to accomplish with this week long show, is to give Sacramento Valley’s economy new opportunities to revitalize itself after it’s recent slump.”
